Nirkum Evolution

So yeah, it's technically Nirkum's birthday too. A bit late because I remember I created him in January? I'll have to check.



2016 Nirkum - When I first created Nirkum, he was what you'd expect him to be. A giant cliche. Hell, he's the physical embodiment of cliche villains. I'll try to state his backstory from how I semi-remember it. Nirkum was a wish-granter, and granted people's wishes since the dawn of time. Like a dysfunctional genie. But one day he was tired of (probably) sucking people off and giving them money that he decided to become evil!! Spoopi!!!! He was also called LORD Nirkum at the time. Yeah, kinda dumb. Actually, very dumb. He's just a giant cliche with no interesting values.

2017 Nirkum - Like Clay Golem, this was a step in the right direction. I got rid of all of his cliches, and..to be honest I didn't know what to do with his past. I kind of left it a mystery, and I think it was good that way. He didn't have a dark, blue aura anymore. He was a black figure with purple outlines, to represent his mystique. I also took inspiration from the Walrider from Outlast, so I made his face all wrinkly and creepy. Nothing too special about this character, but he was definitely better than 2016 Nirkum.

2018 Nirkum - Now, Nirkum is at his prime, and now I know exactly what to do with him. His past is pretty much on his ref, which you can find in my gallery. I dumbed him down from a demigod to someone with special abilities, and a dark morality. He has the power to control the void, as powers given to him by The Truth. Fun fact, the Nirkum now isn't just one guy. Nirkum is an ancient parasite that has been passed down beyond generations. Glave Bakins being it's current host. I believe Nirkum is the best as he is now, since I'm satisfied with his motivations and backstory. Since Glave is it's host, he is obsessed with knowledge, and figuring out what's out there. But, since Nirkum is well..Nirkum, he loves the pain and suffering of others. This is shown through how much he tormented Kitten about her past. (rp i did with a friend) It is also shown through how he considers himself an artist, often posing corpses modeled after old, roman art.
